I always remember the beginning of the book, The Road Less Travelled, by Dr Scott Peck that starts with … Life is hard!  Wow, what a revelation I thought.  This might not sound like the most optimistic way to start reading but I like this concept that once we face up to our challenges, we now have the opportunity to overcome them.
